Golden visa is a concept by the United Arab Emirate in the year 2019. It was for the purpose of increasing quality of life, workforce, products, resources of the UAE. This is a visa that is issued for a period of 10 years unlike regular residence visa of 2 and 3 years.

The golden visa is issued to Investors, Entrepreneurs, Extra Talented Individuals, Researchers with at least a patent and exceptional results.

Investors and Entrepreneurs, who has a minimum investment of 10 million dirhams in the UAE business or a property OR 10 million as share in a big company are eligible for a Golden Visa.

Individuals with talents – like a world – renowned singer, actor, doctor, lawyer, media person or sports person is eligible to get a golden visa,

Researchers with exceptional results in their field and having at least a patent for the work in his or her name is eligible to get a golden visa,

Not only adults are eligible for golden visa – students with exceptions academic records are also eligible for a UAE Golden Visa. School students who has minimum 95 % average marks in all subjects and university students who has a minimum 3.75 aggregate in respective discipline are eligible to get golden visa.

The family members like spouse, children, parents are also eligible to get golden visa based on primary golden visa holder’s eligibility.

The Golden Visa is renewable for another decade if the holder maintains the parameters of eligibility at the time of renewal.
