Vertical Farming
A system of soilless vertical farming is there to grow fruit and vegetables inside the domes using hydroponics. Each square meter is having 48 planting pots. Also, the main cultivation here will be lettuce, radish, baby spinach, etc. These vertical farms are made with special trays. Sufficient light will be ensured to have apt growth of each farming plant at different seasons. Also, water supply through special pipes will be provided all the time. This type of cultivation is expected to save the cost of production by 95% as per experts and developers. Initially, the aim is to produce 50 tons of fresh food products in a year. The system will help society to learn the process of growing food and consuming fresh food.
