Zero Tax Category in the UAE
Value Added Tax, VAT, is a tax charged when goods are sold. The standard rate of VAT in the UAE is 5%. With the exception of these items that are not taxed by VAT:
1. Goods and services exported out of GCC countries,
2. Transportation of International destination,
3. Some Air and Sea Transportation Services,
4. Gold, Silver, Diamond, and some similar precious metal trade.
